My heart goes out to everyone hoping for a little one. Success story here. After 4 years of heartache, multiple miscarriages, and times that tested our strength and our love, we had our beautiful little boy last week. I've never felt so blessed. My advice to couples: See multiple doctors and trust your "gut." In major metro areas, there are too many options to settle. Also, see a perinatologist (aka maternal-fetal medicine doctor). See multiple perinatologists! We saw a particular doctor on a recommendation from an amazing fertility nurse (based on her own experience) and he shed some light that may have been the key to a successful birth (I say "may have" because we don't know the exact cause of our previous losses). This might not be relevant to everyone, but for some couples it comes down to leaving no stone un-turned. Good luck to all--It's a long journey!
