Sorry, I would agree with Peloton. There’s a reason people rave about it.
Question: What sets it apart from something like popsugar fitness or FitnessBlender or the like for the non-bike stuff? I love streaming for free on YouTube, is it really worth paying for?
You can get the peloton apponow free for 90 days so I think in 3 months you can determine whether you like it or not. If you don’t then just cancel it before the 3 months are over. I have had the bike and app for 4 years now and during that time the variety of classes on the app has exploded. There is cardio, cardio dance, strength, stretching, yoga, running, walking, boot camp, and spinning. There are class series you can take (that building upon itself), challenges you can do. By 2020 Peloton definitely has their sh!t together in terms of quality of instructors and instruction. They have different personalities of instructors, different music genres making it easier to find a class you like. I tried fitness blender for a while and for me I just couldn’t get engaged with their instructors and it seemed too cheesy. I felt the same way with beach body (except for Shaun T, who doesn’t love him). If you just don’t want to try peloton then don’t. But you don’t have to pay anything now to try.
