Also, has Sam essentially become “not straight” on the show? Are we supposed to be questioning her sexual orientation? Her character no longer seems interested in men at all. I only ask because a lot of the comedic aspects in the show were driven by her dating foibles. Now that material is gone, it seems that basically we a holed up in the house with her kids (a very timely parallel story line!)

Also, what happened to her diverse roster of good friends? They all seem to have been written off the show. It’s weird that the show suddenly has new, random friends introduced. It sort of feels like forced diversity for diversity’s sake.

Anyways, the show seems to be lost from a plot and character perspective. That’s on the writing team. We will finish out this season and probably not come back.[/quote]
