DC is a sophomore at Tisch in film. This semester is Sight and Sound, and the major project is a 30 minute film to be filmed in Tisch's studios so you learn how to work in a studio. Distance learning does not work for this project, and since this is the last major film project in the film program, we should get a refund.

This is on top of students being told that they had 7 days to move everything out of the dorm, and if you could not make it back, don't worry, NYU would pack up your stuff and send it to you. Then, after the 7 days passed, students were told the stuff left in the rooms could not be sent back but would be moved around, and sent at some later time. I am glad I made the trip into NYC and packed up, but I bet those kids who live too far away to come back will never see their stuff again. And who would want it, after they fill the dorms with hospital overflow patients (the plans for the dorms).
Supposedly the dorm refund checks are being put in the mail today. I am not holding my breath.[/quote]
