Dont parents get food assistance for their kids?[/quote] Thank your lucky stars that you’ve never needed SNAP (food stamps). It is meant to cover some of a family’s nutritional needs, not all. Child nutrition tends to be better when they can access additional food at school. And child nutrition is proven to result in less illness and better educational outcomes.[/quote]
