You are spot on, OP.  I am appalled at some of the behaviors I am seeing in some of my fellow citizens in the City of Alexandria.

There are people all over the world, and even in this country, who have far more dire life situations than us.  This is not an "every man for himself situation."  Far from it.  And if you think it is then you haven't had a very wide range of human experiences.

Practice good citizenry.  It will do us all a world of good.[/quote]
