You still pay for your place in the daycare.[/quote] On the flip side, is my employer going to pay me if I take 2 weeks off and not take leaves? No. The daycare teacher is an employee. It is their job to be loving and to care for our kids because we PAY them. I am not sure why this board seems to put daycare teachers on a pedestal and they deserve "special treatment" when they are employees working for an organization JUST LIKE THE REST OF US. Of course, I think their jobs are important, probably more important than my admin job at a non-profit. [/quote]
