OP here. My husband and I are pretty vigilant about having her avoid stuff like that, because of her troubles. Maybe the dog walkers let her, but I hope not.

We live in a high-traffic area where a lot of chicken bones end up on the ground. So DH and I always have our eyes peeled. [/quote]
