Our 4 year old gets car-sick and we do windows, limited screens and dairy and lots of distractions. The last time we flew she got airsick and now, despite being very excited about our trip tomorrow, she's incredibly worried about getting sick again. The flight is short and in the morning. We downloaded frozen 2 so we have that - but I am wondering if there is anything else people do or medicine that may help alleviate her symptoms? When I was little I remember I got ginger-ale on planes - such a treat and I am tempted to give her that. But what about benadryll or anything else OTC.
I get motion sickness as a child and I still do now. I would suggest that you get a window seat for her, and for her to look outside during take off. I find that to be helpful. Of course, I always take Dramamine just in case. But looking out in general, always help.
