It’s a neighborhood school so if you live in bounds then you have a spot. If you can’t afford to move there, then tough luck. Neighborhood schools have no duty to take at risk kids. That’s what charters were originally created for in this city so these kids can go to a school outside their poor performing school. It has worked well for many of these families. And no, I don’t live in ward 3. I live in NE in ward 5.[/quote]
