The show sticks to a pretty set formula. I think it works. I don't really think about the life of Twyla. I would like to see more of Stevie this season, or more of Stevie's story/character arc. Like, I know Twyla grew up in foster care, but what's Stevie's story? She seems like she was pretty stuck in life - after her role in Cabaret maybe that will change? Her understated delivery and sarcasm is so funny. I just re-watched the slumber party episode. I love her in that. And when she figures out Patrick wants to be on a date with David.
