My kids haven’t had any issues with getting time off from part time summer employment.[/quote] I'm an actual employer, and if a seasonal employee wants to leave in the middle I tell them to make a choice: stay and work the season, or leave for your vacation but don't come back and don't apply again and don't expect to get a good reference from me. I can find a dozen kids with my eyes closed who will work hard the entire season - no need to hire a rich kid whose family goes on three vacations in one 12 week period.[/quote]
