Westbrook parents are elitist snobs.  Some of them are horrible complainers who like to blame others for their own kids’ failures.  This is most notable amongst the international parents.  They will fight tooth and nail for what they want no matter how bigoted they are.[/quote]

Somerset ES had a higher GS rating in recent years (test scores) but as of this year, it's the same as Westbrook.  My kid is at Somerset, and I wouldn't have a problem with them being at Westbrook.  Somerset is a great school, but it's so crowded now that it doesn't have room for a music room or a faculty lounge anymore and it needs to have its boundaries redrawn.  The developer loving MoCo Council keeps adding housing in the catchement area without realizing that all this new housing requires corresponding infrastructure for schools.[/quote]
