I'm a female driver and might start out picking up just female riders. To sign up as a driver, Uber does a background check on me, but Waze did not even require that.

Also, what happens if I'm in a car accident while I have a rider? Because it gives me a few bucks (I think 54 cents per mile or something) what does that do for insurance purposes? If I refuse pay, would it be ok? St first I got excited about using 66 (since from Tysons, the variable tolls can be $28-45 ONE way to use it) but now I'm having all kinds of questions.
