Sure it might not be effortless like some people, but you can make it happen. I was always a shy, quiet kid growing up and I truly worked on it. I'm in my 30s now and am often surrounded by people at parties. I always have a story to tell. I look up news articles and find interesting things to say to acquaintances. I read a newspaper a day and also skim the sections I don't even like (sports, celebrities). Also, personality does change. Surely you've known people who are different than they used to be?[/quote]
