At 16, they have two years of driving monitored by parents. A new car isn't the issue. Parents need to monitor and teach safe driving. Now its so much easier as cars have built in parental monitors in new cars or you can buy a chip to do it. Not all 16 year olds are bad drivers. Just like not all 30 year olds are good drivers.[/quote]
