Most colleges list the da or club where their players were based in high school. Not just the high school. Most elite private university players go to private/boarding schools so many not be at DAs. Bubble boys from 9-12 all the way through college. And we are all puzzled why USMNT is so weak.  The same weaknesses that result from developing in these sheltered environments soon make themselves evident in other contexts, not just soccer. Give me Clint Dempsey any day of the week over these guys. But to be fair, I think their eyes are on other objectives, not soccer. [/quote]
