In my opinion, it seems like her job had grown into multiple jobs.  When she was a single woman she probably was willing to support HD’s needs almost 24/7.  She probably tried to tell Heather this and wanted to grow her career in a more professional direction.  She probably anticipated that being a new mom and pleasing her employer at the level she was before would not be doable.

It also seems like Natalie was a little postpartum (like a lot of us have been) and very sensitive and emotional.  From the video she posted, she seems authentically blindsided by the situation.   If HD considered her “like a second daughter” then it just seemed like she would have handled things a lot differently.  HD’s posts and responses seemed mean-spirited and inauthentic to me.  Also, I’m guessing that a non disclosure agreement has kept Natalie from defending herself.

I thought that Natalie balanced her out on that podcast and I enjoyed listening.  I guess most people are just sad to see a friendship crumble in front of us.  I really hope they can work it out.  [/quote]
