All these local political issues have strong proponents on both sides. If you want more information about any of them, all you have to do is engage in some basic research. Start with local news sources; read the positions from advocacy groups on both sides as well as government decision makers (County Council, BOE, state reps etc.) Make up your own mind and if you are so moved, you can find a way to weigh in on one side or another (write letters, engage with advocacy groups, go to public meetings, etc.)

Fwiw the PL is under construction now, and so you're probably not going to find much success in trying to influence the eventual outcome although if you feel strongly about particular aspects (sound reduction, bike trail amenities) you might find a way to constructively influence the process. The other two issues are less settled so more opportunity for citizen views.[/quote]
