What felt like a little lack of communication and notice on school events like class parties, school assemblies, sign up for conferences etc. Some behaviors in the upper grade that concerned us a little but those can be anyplace. 
I think it is a school many families could be comfortable at through at least early elementary. Brookland middle also seems to be growing and doing great things. Idk if it will be ready for our kid in time but they are on the right track.
