His parents would be about a 10 minute drive away instead of a block away, which is why I'm hesitating. When I was babysitting as an 11/12 year old in the 80s it was in apartment buildings in NYC so there were always neighbors or at the very least, a doorman, who could help in a real emergency.[/quote]
