[/quote] I think this is great for outside the family, but what is so wrong with a 5 year old expressing his preference? He wasn't trying to be mean. Maybe we shouldn't try to control what they are saying so much so they can feel free to say what they want? Why can't mom say, "You know what, sweetie, i like the way I look with make-up too, but I also don't want to bother with that on the weekend, and I think I look fine without it." I don't wear makeup because it's too much work and I don't really know how but I'm sure I would look better with it on![/quote]
