No! Seriously you people don't know how this works and yet you use the service? They are paid a small amount because the assumption is they are going to be tipped by the customer. Same reason you are charged so little -- because the assumption is you will be tipping the driver.

I just checked the last Uber order I placed.  The food was charged $12.  On top of that, there was $2 service fee, $2 delivery fee, and somehow a $2 tip (not sure if it was automatic or I clicked on it not realizing), so 50% in fees.  No way am I adding additional tip to that. [/quote]
