No other details were provided as I quickly excused myself. The second time this happened (today) I left the conversation as soon as I recognized the script. I am wondering what the heck is this recruitment- MLM business? Scientology? There were no specific product/business mentions, and no religious undertones. I’m just curious if anyone else has experienced this and knows what the deal is. I have a friend who had the same thing happen at an Arlington playground. It is quite strange and off-putting!
