Can I do my initial consult out there and then get monitored and stimmed out here in Nova or do I have to go and stay there and use their labs. What is CSC testing of the embryo and how is it different from pgs testing. Does anyone know the cost of IVF at Ccrm Colorado.
Its been a few years for me, but my initial consult was a phone call w/ Dr. S. I then made an appointment and flew out to CO with my husband for a 1 day work up. My monitoring was done locally here through Shady Grove, until I got close to retrieval and had to fly back to CO. Just an FYI - they are very picky about their labs for certain tests (e.g. infectious diseases). I had to have the blood drawn, spun and frozen and shipped out to CO for testing. I'm not sure if this is just something you can do while you are out there for your consult, but that was the only pain point for me during the process. Otherwise, SG handles all the monitoring and ultrasounds. Not sure how CSC testing is different, but I did it and it was fine. CCRM didn't take my insurance, but I had a small discount through my company. My total OOP expense was probably around $35,000 for 1 IVF cycle, which thankfully worked and resulted in my healthy b/g twins. Good luck to you.
