He said he tried to ask her after asking friends and she wouldn’t him because she was busy with a group. I totally understand not wanting to be bothered with a million questions, but a students asking a question related to the assignment seems reasonably to me.   I know it’s his fault he missed the directions the first time, but I don’t get not being able to ask the teacher for clarification. Am I totally off base here? [/quote]
