OP here.  Just an FYI,...I am an independent taxpayer.  I've voted for both parties off and on for the last 40 years in Fairfax County.  Just throwing in my two cents regarding the fiscal madness and political correctness which is running amuck in this county.   I have a multiracial grandchild in the first grade in FCPS. OP here again.  As a matter of fact, I do know.   My stepdaughter graduated from Thomas Edison 19 years ago with an IB diploma.  I am also a retired FCPS high school teacher of an AP subject, and while I never taught IB, I was very well acquainted with the curriculum.  PP insinuated that I was somehow a racist who actually gave a rotten apple about the Confederate name. I don't.  I care about how county revenue continues to be mismanaged and misappropriated.  Your "cranky grandpa" insult just proves to me that you are just like the PP.   You don't KNOW me.[/quote]
