I took my 6 and 4 year olds to the playground last weekend. I’d taken medication that made me extremely nauseous for about 20 minutes so I allowed them to go play while I waited it out in the car, overlooking the playground. This is the self protective reflex kicking in we use to convince ourselves that this would NEVER happen to us. You could look down for a second to help your kid with a bleeding knee and the other could be picked up. It is very rare, but sometimes it does happen. And it is not a matter of being a parent guilty of child neglect. [/quote]
