Just an unscientific observation from watching my five kids and their dozens and dozens of friends, and my wife’s experiences as a teacher for a couple of decades. Even the not-so-bright girls get good grades because they are organized, never miss out on the free points like do/didn’t do homework assignments, and have enough performance anxiety that they won’t just give up and accept the B or C.
