This is OP.  I recently went off the pill and have been using the cheap sticks pretty much twice a day to figure out when I ovulate - nothing yet, but I know it could take some time.  I'm curious why you prefer the ClearBlue more than the cheap sticks?  I didn't want to spend the money on CB because I truly have NO idea when I will ovulate.[/quote]

I switched to ClearBlue to get more accurate readings. I could never really tell the lines on the cheap ones, it felt like reading tea leaves. I did both this cycle (I’m in month 5 post pill) to see what a positive looks like and while I can better see the cheap strips are positive, I still couldn’t100% tell. I’m also 37 and didn’t want to waste cycle after cycle, so I figured it was worth the $30 something to see how it works. I can report back in two weeks. :)[/quote]
