[/quote] No, the pill stops ovulation. That is what makes it effective. Women get pregnant when they skip pills or don't take them at the same time of day. OP, it actually took me about 2 months to get my period back when I went off the pill. I was not intending to become pregnant at the time (was getting off the pill for other reasons) and I was freaking out that I was pregnant. It just took my body a few months to readjust to making its own hormones. When I went off the NuvaRing, it was about 40 days until I got my period.[/quote]
