Neither. Get a gym membership and lift weights.
Yup.
have you ever BEEN to solidcore? OP, I'm also a 41 year old Peloton fanatic who does Solidcore. It's a ridiculously effective workout. I only go once a week but if you go 2-3 times a week you'll see noticeable differences.
I'm a 42 year old Peloton + solidcore person (there are several of us). Here's the deal: solidcore is very, very effective for building muscle, particularly if you go 2-3 times/week. It's also expensive and harder work than most people want to put in. If you can get proper instruction and would prefer something cheaper and less painful, lifting weights is also really effective. It all comes down to your preferences. I *love* my solidcore, so that's a huge bonus of the workout. I don't think CorePower belongs in the same realm for muscle building as these two.
I agree with all of this. I’ve spent a lot of time weightlifting in gyms and it’s possible to get results that way, but for me, SolidCore gets me there faster because it’s so intense and focused. There’s no question about what I’m doing and no option for slacking. It’s the most efficient 50 minutes of exercise I’ve ever done. I combine it with Peleton for cardio and endurance and the combo has put me in excellent shape.
