She is looking out for the puppy. [/quote] OP here - thank you for interpreting correctly (aggressive adult dogs, not a pack of puppies). It was a madhouse. My dog couldn't wait to get out of there and he is about the most social dog you'd ever want to meet. I felt for the puppy's owners but it was a good place for any dog at that time, much less a puppy.[/quote]
