an interesting dynamic will develop as younger siblings will be in the current permanent location (allowing the family to have one drop/pickup), and newly entering families (presumably oldest children) will be at the new location. Harder to establish a school culture with no younger siblings / already involved parents in a classroom.
I will be one of those new families at the Brookland campus, with my oldest being a new student there. You are right that the dynamics will be different and the school culture will take time to develop, but from my interactions with the other new parents that I met at LAMB's parent education conference last weekend, I am not worried about parental involvement. We are all thrilled to have this opportunity and plan on being very involved. I am looking forward to starting our own little campus with this new group of parents.
