I agree and I don’t like that the conspiracy plot line was completely separate from the presidents plotline. I liked how it was so integrated in the first season but hate the new seasons and how different the newer seasons are from the first two.[/quote]

I think if they continue with one theme it would grow old pretty fast. What they did, saved the show and keeps it interesting because while it continues with the peripeties of the president, it does blend in the other topics and the way they did is pretty convoluted and impressive to keep that many different plots going. It is pretty neat writing gymnastics and they are doing pretty darn good job at that.

I moved on from the first season to the beginning of the third and still amazed by the pace and the overall quality.
