Its crappy to get your youngest a used old car vs. your daughter a new one. Don't punish her for her siblings mistakes. SHese's been driving for 2 years and ifs he's accident free,s he's doing great. Get her the same or stop being cheap and pay for a four year school where she doesn't need a car.
She didn’t get into any 4 year colleges. And she would still need a car. She has a job. Even if she went to any university around where we live, a car would be needed. And DH and I just don’t want her to get into accidents but obviously the only way of that happening is not getting her a car.
She could get into a four year college but she didn't apply to those that would accept her. Big difference. She doesn't have to go close to where you live. No freshman needs a car nor do most schools allow it.
Excuse me but you have no idea where she applied so please sit down thank you. My oldest daughters university had dorms and each student was able to park a car in the parking lot if needed. So what do you mean most colleges don’t allow it. I’ve never heard of that before. Either way DH and I wouldn’t have been able to pay the tuition for out of state if she choose. She chose a lot of in state colleges and even then couldn’t get in.
