She didn’t get into any 4 year colleges. And she would still need a car. She has a job. Even if she went to any university around where we live, a car would be needed. She could get into a four year college but she didn't apply to those that would accept her.  Big difference.  She doesn't have to go close to where you live.  No freshman needs a car nor do most schools allow it.[/quote]

Excuse me but you have no idea where she applied so please sit down thank you. My oldest daughters university had dorms and each student was able to park a car in the parking lot if needed. So what do you mean most colleges don’t allow it. I’ve never heard of that before. Either way DH and I wouldn’t have been able to pay the tuition for out of state if she choose. She chose a lot of in state colleges and even then couldn’t get in.[/quote]
