BSC Girls Director of Coaching and ECNL U15 Head Coach Shannon Cirovski to Depart Club

The Bethesda Soccer Club (BSC) is sad to announce that our Girls Director of Coaching and ECNL U15 Head Coach Shannon Cirovski will be stepping down from her role as the Director of Coaching and head coach of the ECNL Force beginning in August. Cirovski is looking forward to spending more time with her family and finding new ways to contribute to the sport she loves. 
 
For the past four and a half years, Shannon has worked tirelessly to make BSC's Girls Program one of the top programs in the country. During her time at Bethesda the Girls Program had over 100 players go on to play college soccer or attend a two or four year university. Her teams have made multiple appearances at the ECNL National Playoffs and win prestigious tournaments such as the Jefferson Cup.

"Bethesda will be forever thankful for Shannon's hard work setting our girls up with strong role models. Her passion and knowledge for the sport is unmatched and it will be difficult for us to find someone to fill her shoes. I look forward to seeing what she does next" said Lisa Frates, BSC's Executive Director.

Bethesda is actively pursuing a new ECNL coach who will lead the team into the future. In the interim, Coach Dave Greene will be taking over the coaching responsibilities for the group as well as serving as the Interim Coaching Director while the Club completes a nationwide search for a new candidate to fill the role.[/quote]
