They legalized essentially every drug there and guess what? They have the lowest overdose rate in Europe and their gang problem is a thousand times better. Legalizing drugs helps bring in state revenue, makes it safer for people to use relatively safe drugs like pot by regulating them, and takes incentives away from gangs to get into the drug business. Also, it's not like if you legalize heroin, suddenly tons of people are going to be like "you know what? lemme just shoot up some heroin. great idea!" [/quote]
