When I confronted him, he said it was just a friend (of course added she was unattractive) and that he didn’t know why he did it. But that he was absolutely not intending to be unfaithful. They were just friends he stated. 
I have never been worried about him cheating before, so I don’t know where to go with this...believe him and just add it to my list of reasons that he has an unhealthy relationship with alcohol? Or am I being naive?
Contacting a person of the opposite sex to drink with when the spouse doesn’t know is way over the line, right?? We have young kids, and again I have never worried about cheering. Definitely have worried about alcohol though...
Advice? I am so upset about this but realize I can’t make a mountain out of a molehill. [/quote]
