Among the notable findings is the prevalence of Islamophobic among various religious groups in the US. The survey found that Jews are the least Islamophobic group and White Evangelical Christians the most Islamophobic. 53% of Jews have are favorable toward Muslims, with only 13% having a negative view. Muslims generally reciprocate these feelings with 45% having a favorable view of Jews versus 10% unfavorable. These findings are contrary to conventional wisdom that the two communities are generally opponents, but should be no surprise to anyone who has actually seen how members of the groups interact with one another.

One other finding, especially given the frequently-stated concerns about Sharia law, is that most Muslims don't think religion should be a source of American law. In contrast, well over half of White Evangelicals believe religion should be a source for American law.

BTW, I am posting this in the Political Forum rather than the Religion Forum because I am mostly interested in the political ramifications of this, as the survey itself appears to be.
