1. Yes, a case. What model ipad do you have? Make sure you get the correct sized case for your ipad.

2. Do you have a netflix account? 
-Download the netflix app onto your ipad
-once logged in, click on the three lines in the upper left corner
-from that menu, click on "available for download"
-browse shows/movies, and download as many as you'd like
-when you're on the plane, you click on the same three lines and scroll down to "my downloads" to watch the shows. Don't forget headphones!

2b: the wifi on a plane is sometimes free, sometimes not. It will not be strong enough to stream. You're much better off downloading ahead of time.
