Focus on your child's strengths, rather than trying to explain or justify any weaknesses in the file. You don't want to call attention to your child's weaknesses. I think an appeal without a WISC is only successful, though, when the child really shouldn't have been rejected the first time. If your child didn't have in-pool or just shy of in-pool scores + a high GBRS, appealing without a WISC is unlikely to work. [/quote]
