Having been around people who overindulge in alcohol, it's  way more districtivr than pot.  I say this as someone who doesn't smoke pot and never has.   I have too many friends who drink a few glasses of wine and think it's just wine and will drive.  I think most pot smokers know they are under the influence.  A lot of casual drinkers don't.  I don't want my kids doing either but I think I'm more sensitive to alcohol because I know someone who drove drunk and killed a father driving home with his kids.  It really stuck with me because this person who did this was someone who was alway kind and generous to everyone around him.  He ruined his life, and took away the husband and father from his family.  You can't ever fix that.  [/quote]
