Yes I'm 2.5 years post partum and everything makes me cry. I NEVER cried before getting pregnant.
That sounds like post partum depression?
No. I have this issue, too. I'm pregnant now, but before that I could still tell a difference from pre-kid 4 years PP. Things settled post partum, but never went back completely. It's not depression related (for me at least). It's more that the maternal instinct switched on in a major way and it came with a stronger emphatic/emotional response, particularly to kid-related stuff. Movies, for example - almost never cried, but I now I'm a total sap (and sometimes don't enjoy watching the super tear-jerkers). I tried catching up on movies right after my first and started with 12 years a slave - clearly a bad choice and I still haven't watched it to this day! Even reading new stories about missing kids or abused kids....or the stories with the super uplifting happy endings - tears. Fortunately, the issue doesn't extend to frustration or conflict, both of which aren't that uncommon in my job, so work (unless I read a news story while taking a break) is still tear free :)
