Would you mind commenting briefly on the schools you visited? Likes? Dislikes?
Excellence Dislikes - just seemed dark and dreary. Carpet in the classrooms and the classroom for PreK and kindergarten are small. Likes - tuition low, breakfast included Riverdale Dislikes - Everything! Very unorganized. More like a public school. Large class sizes. 1st grade had 28 kids; tuition high for that school Likes - Nothing Grace Brethren Dislikes - Pre-K class small; teacher fairly new. The counselor giving the tour didn’t seem to answer question. Got the public school feel Likes - other than PreK, classroom were decent; tuition wasn’t too high but higher than Excellene Holy Trinity Dislikes - Location. It was the furthest; no lunch option for PreK to kindergarten; you have to pack lunch. Hours are short. 8:45 or 9-2:05; Tuition is high and does not include $1,000 registration fee and $500 endowment fee Rock Creek Dislikes- Everything! They’re probably still open because their high school basketball is popular Likes - Nothing
