The idea is to have the female mosquitoes lay their eggs in the water treated with BTI which prevents future adults from spawning, thus crashing the mosquito population. A trap just kills the one mosquito, but won't prevent the eggs already laid from spawning. [/quote] Didn't mention it but I also did that. We have a drain that always has standing water and I treat that with no success. [/quote]
