PBES, for example, seems to be going the opposite direction looking at the admission statistics posted in a different thread. Personally, there are pros and cons to both of these approaches but I'd rather err on the side being inclusive. However, the reality is the CES and magnet programs in MCPS are much more selective than their counterparts in VA.[/quote]
