[/quote] These points apply to all college fairs. You sign in at the tables you stop by, or your name badge is scanned (if you pre-register) so they will know you sought them out. It is even better if you chat with, and ask a question of the admissions rep (not something easily discerned from the website) as the better reps will take notes. You will get same mail, and perhaps some stuff more tailored to what the kid says they are interested in than if you don't go. This is a decent alternative to a campus visit to register interest, especially if finances constrain traveling all over the country. Parents should hang back, smile and let the kid do the talking.
