Schultz was at a School Board work session on 3/11.

Many Democratic voters will be unhappy with the next BOS and School Board as they lurch further left.  Fairfax has enjoyed moderate Democratic leadership for years, but many of the people seeking the Democratic nominations or endorsements for BOS/SB positions are Bernie Sanders/AOC types.

If they get their way, taxes will increase, lots of subsidized housing will get built, and school boundaries will be cannibalized so every middle and high school has similar FARMS percentages.  While that may sound good to many in principle, once it starts being implemented people will take their marbles and flee the county.  And then all the shiny redevelopment plans for Tysons, Route 1, etc. will come to a crashing halt. [/quote]
