I absolutely love our gym childcare. I initially started at a different location of the same chain and once walked in with my new baby alone in a swing while the day care woman was doing errands around the gym. I was so upset and left and never went back. I went to a different location and found the most amazing girl who is there every single day. She is so caring and warm. I would definitely look around and find a gym that has good child care. Something I asked the girl is how long she worked there for and if she was happy there. She’s been there almost a decade and seems very happy. Sometimes you have to pay a little more to feel comfortable with the child care. Just don’t go in there thinking you are getting “daycare” services. They are pretty much there to ensure your kids are safe and that’s it. I have seen some parents expect the attendants to help with potty training or changing diapers or other services or the parents get upset when their workout is interrupted for a dirty diaper. Maybe go around to different gyms and see how your child vibes with the staff. Good luck!
